What is the SMISEACOW P7?

The SMISEACOW P7 is a 15.6" dual-screen ultra-slim desktop extender. Unlike traditional clamp-on designs, it uses an open desktop structure—you simply place your laptop between the two screens to expand your workspace without putting any pressure on your laptop's display or hinge.

Will it damage my laptop screen or hinge?

No. Because it doesn't clamp onto your laptop, there is zero contact and zero pressure on your screen or hinge. Your laptop stays safe while you get dual screens.

Compatibility

Does it fit my laptop size?

Yes. Thanks to the open desktop design, it perfectly fits all laptop sizes—from compact 13" ultrabooks to large 16" gaming laptops. No disassembly or modification is needed.

Which operating systems and devices are supported?

It supports Windows, macOS, Android, Linux, and Chrome OS. It works with all-size laptops, desktops, MINI PCs, and tablets with video output. It also supports phones with PC mode (like Huawei EMUI and Samsung DEX with external power).

Connection & Setup

How do I connect it to my laptop?

P7 offers three connection options:

Option 1: Two full‑featured USB‑C ports

Use 2 × USB‑C to USB‑C cables – connect to TYPE‑C1 & TYPE‑C2.

Option 2: One full‑featured USB‑C + HDMI

Use 1 × USB‑C to USB‑C + 1 × USB‑C to HDMI – connect to TYPE‑C1 & TYPE‑C2.

Option 3: No full‑featured USB‑C (HDMI + standard USB)

Use 1 × USB‑C to HDMI + H5‑T (sold separately) – connect to TYPE‑C1 or TYPE‑C2. External power to PD port is also required.

What if my laptop doesn't have a full-featured Type-C port?

If your laptop only has standard USB-A and HDMI ports, you can use our H5-T adapter to connect. Please contact support@smiseacow.com to get the H5-T adapter for free.

Can it charge my laptop?

Yes. When you connect an external PD power source to the P7's PD port, it supports 100W PD reverse charging, supplying power to your laptop while lighting up the screens.
